Performer Etiquette

Dress formally:

Boys may chose to wear a suit and dress shoes or button-down shirt with dress pants. Girls have the option of either a dress or blouse and skirt/dress pants. Absolutely no flip-flops, shorts and athletic wear allowed. 

Arrive at the appointed call time prepared to perform:

Students must arrive 15 minutes before performance time for check in and orientation. 

Be respectful of the other performers:

 Students must show respect to one another and refrain from whispering, talking, or doing other activities. Bullying, teasing and mocking will not be tolerated. 

Audience Etiquette

No eating/drinking:

Snacks and most drinks will not be permitted in the recital space. Depending on venue, bottled water may be allowed. 

Turn off all devices:

Interruptions during performances from devices will not be tolerated. Guests that are noisy will be asked to leave. 

Be respectful of the performers:

Do not enter recital hall, switch seats or leave during the middle of a  performance. Please wait until performance or recital is over and exit quietly.
