15 years teaching experience

OCP educators must have a minimum of 17 years teaching experience. We do not accept educators that are currently in school or in the beginning of their teaching career.

advanced piano training

Educators must be highly qualified and demonstrate proof of training with certifications, degree checks, auditions, and recommendation letters.

Background checked

OCP performers background checks on all educators to ensure child safety. It is our top priority to create a safe learning environment that allows children to thrive and realize their full music potential.

Ms. Grace

Founder & Director

Ms. Grace hails from UCLA and started OC Piano Program with the vision of empowering children across Orange County with an elite music education. “As educators, our role is to help our piano students become what they are capable of becoming,” she says. She believes that OCP’s winning formula stems from our recruitment of master educators and partnerships with families and hard-working students.

Ms. Ellen

Ms. Ellen is a highly experienced educator with a heart full of love for children and an unwavering passion for making a lasting impact on their lives. “I love spending time teaching young minds,” says Ms. Ellen. With a Masters of Music from the New England Music Conservatory, she combines her technical skills and performing talents to create dynamic learning experiences for children.

Ms. Yuri

Master Educator

Ms. Yuri holds a Master of Piano Performance from Northern Illinois University. For over 20 years, she has taught piano to children of all ages and particularly enjoys creating fun, engaging lessons that support and challenge students. Her passionate teaching style shows her heartfelt commitment. “I make personal connections with all my students and believe that every student needs a champion,” she says.

Ms. Julie

Ms. Julie’s love of music in high school transformed into a passion for helping students find their own melody and develop a love of learning along the way. Julie is a graduate of Biola University’s Conservatory of Music. She is also the regional  chair of the MTAC Orange Coast City Branch’s Junior Bach and Theme Festivals. “I find great satisfaction in cultivating excellence among students,” says Ms. Julie.

Ms. Elisa

Master Educator

Ms. Elisa’s passion for education took root when she was a child in Indonesia, watching her family teach neighborhood children in a fun, energetic environment.  “I love the opportunity to grow alongside them and to learn about what each child needs to reach their individual success,” she says. Ms. Elisa holds a music degree from the Music Institute of Indonesia and has over 25 years of teaching experience.

Ms. Yuko

Master Educator

Since earning her Masters of Music from the New England Conservatory, Ms. Yuko has been working with children in different capacities for over 23 years. Ever since she was in elementary school, her teachers were her heroes, and as an adult, teaching is where she finds her greatest passion and rewards. “I love working with children because their zest for learning is so refreshing!” she says.

Ms. Chiacheng

Master Educator

Ms. Chiacheng received the Doctoral of Music degree in piano performance from UC Santa Barbara and Master degree from the prestigious New England Conservatory of Music. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ms. Chiacheng loves cultivating environments that make learning meaningful. “I feel so lucky to do what I’m passionate about every day,” says Ms. Chia.

Ms. Alicia

Master Educator

Ms. Alicia graduated with a Masters in Music Performance from Boston University. After college, she decided to take her love of performing music into the classroom. “I am personally very happy to be part of a community that truly cares about the well-being of the educators, students, and families — both intellectually and especially emotionally,” she says.
